Stray Kids electrifies 100,000 fans at Brazil's Rock in Rio
Stray Kids became the first K-pop act to headline Rock in Rio, sending roughly 100,000 fans at Rio’s Olympic Park into a frenzy Friday evening. The eight-member group performed hits including “Topline,” “S‑Class,” “God’s Menu,” “Chk Chk Boom,” “Lalalala” and “This & That” as the festival — which shared a bill with Calvin Harris, the Black Eyed Peas, Maroon 5 and Elton John — allowed lightsticks into the venue for the first time since 1985, JYP Entertainment said; Hwasa became the first K-pop female soloist on the main stage, performing about 13 songs to roughly 80,000 fans, rookie JYP group NexZ also appeared, and Stray Kids now head to their Stray City dates in Buenos Aires (Monday–Tuesday) and Mexico City (Sept. 25–26)
