BTS' 'ARIRANG' hits 5 bil. Spotify streams, topping 2026 releases
BTS’s fifth studio album ARIRANG has surpassed 5 billion Spotify streams — the most for any 2026 release and roughly 2 billion more than the year’s runner-up (Olivia Rodrigo’s latest album); all 14 tracks have topped 200 million plays — including the bell‑only interlude “No. 29” — while lead single “Swim” is nearing 1 billion streams. The LP generated over 110 million plays on its release day and at one point occupied the top 14 spots on Spotify’s global songs chart. Released as the group’s first full‑group project in nearly four years after members’ military service, ARIRANG also became the first group album since 2012 to top the Billboard 200 for three consecutive weeks
