My parents didn't know I didn't have school on Veterans day when I was in Kindergarten. When they dropped me off and zoomed away, I realize that the doors were locked. So, me and my brave self, wanted to cross the extremely busy street by myself. My house wasn't far, I thought I could make it. So, when I tried, I almost got ran over but luckily the car turned and the person got out of the car. See, this is the part where you probably won't believe me. I even find it hard to believe myself. Coincidentally, my vice principal was the one in the car. She was screaming and she pulled me away from the road. Then she called the police and I got to ride in the back of a cop car for the first time and hopefully the last time in my life. My parents didn't get in trouble, thankfully, cuz I think I was the one that told them I had school on Veterans day. But, anyways, my life almost got cut short. That's like the only memory I have when I was super young. Good question!
