Who Agree
You broke something I never named,
not trust, not love, but something framed,
a fragile truth I can’t replace,
that once found warmth in your safe place.
I tell myself to let it fade,
to dim the voice your presence made,
to erase the trace, to clear your face,
but how do I forget your safe embrace?
So here I stand, still torn in two,
between the parts of me and you,
not strong enough to walk away,
not cold enough to let you stay.
