I think it depends a lot on the context and why someone isn't a fan . I think that many people who are aware of kpop and don't like it think it all sounds the same - that typical bubble pop type music. I think they probably haven't actually been exposed to much. I'll show people like that a song like Idle 's Hwaa. Then there are others who don't even know what it is (the kpop? people) - that's the people I show the mega-hits.

@Asli I found stray kids ..they were the 1st group that piqued my interest..I was like im just gonna learn their names and match them to their faces,lol biggest lie i told my self..then i saw the skzoo ver of the mv and i was like wait so i learned to match the skzoo to the member to the voice.And then it snowballed lol
I knew blackpink but didn't know they were kpop them I started skz really early in their career but didn't really know they were kpop and then properly stanned everyone in July of 2025 after kpdh
