Three members of global K-pop phenomenon BTS — V, Jimin and Jungkook —have landed on South Korea’s list of top 100 stockholders under the age of 30, highlighting a striking crossover between pop stardom and corporate wealth. According to an analysis released on Dec. 24 by corporate data tracker CEO Score, the combined share value of the country’s top 100 stockholders surged by nearly 70 trillion won (about $52 billion) compared to the end of last year, reaching a total of 177.2 trillion won as of Dec. 19. Within that elite group, several BTS members stood out. V, Jimin and Jungkook each reportedly hold shares worth about 21.4 billion won, placing them comfortably among the wealthiest stockholders in their age bracket. The origins of their holdings trace back to 2020, when Bang Si-hyuk, the largest shareholder of entertainment giant HYBE, gifted 478,695 common shares to each BTS member.
